About AAWP
All About World Politics (AAWP) is a project based on two principles: a) independent and critical thinking, b) observing and analysing what mostly intrigues my curiosity. In other words, what I would like to learn more about and share it with the public. The main objective of this website is not to create a journal or a newspaper, but a blog where the principles of academic research are blended with personal views. My attempt is to write as simply and clearly as possible and make my articles comprehensive to everyone.
The blog’s contents combine different aspects and areas of the world affairs: from conflict and security to energy and environment, global economy and development, international law and human rights. My belief is that the study of a wide spectrum of areas can provide a better interpretation of the current affairs.

A few words about me
As a person, I was always intrigued and curious to learn more about the world of politics. My bachelor’s degree in International and European Studies at the University of Macedonia in Greece equipped me with an exquisite advantage to study the facts of the global affairs objectively. Following my interest to further explore the energy and low carbon economies, I was enrolled and graduated from the M.Sc. course of the University of Exeter in Energy Policy.
The purpose of launching AAWP is not coincidental but intertwined with my vision to boost further my research and to engage/network with people that share the same passion about world politics and who seek answers to their questions regarding the worldwide political agendas. I believe that this website can be the door to numerous other ideas or arguments that readers can question, embrace or even reject while developing their own critical thinking.
